Honors' Discussion Prompt
In your own words define Equality’s sacred word. If you were in Equality's situation what would be your sacred word? Why?
Equality takes the name Prometheus and Liberty takes the name Gaea. The reason that Equality wanted them to change their names is because he read in a book about how individuals used to have names that distinguised them from all other individuals. I also think that he wanted to take a new name because the name Equality reminded him of the lies that the world council was feeding to the people.
ReplyDeleteIn the future, Equality plans to rebuild the achievements of man and put lights all the way around his house. Then he plans to go back to his hometown and save his friends and tell everyone of the great truth he has discovered.
Equality wants to put the word 'Ego' above every door, and on every door.
If I were him, I would choose the same word to be my sacred word because the word ego is what defines each and every individual. It is the the right to be different from every other individual in the world.
1.His new name is Promethus, and her new name is Gaea. The purpose of the new names are, because nobody should be without a name. He took the name of a god, ans she took the name of a goddess.

Equality’s scared word in my opinion kind of defines who a person is. If a person doesn’t have an ego I kind of wonder if they are a real person. Your ego keeps you going and it defines who you are. You should always know who you are, and your ego helps you with that.

Honor's Discussion Prompt: The word Ego means to me that you think highly of yourself, and it can be good and bad. If you have to big of an ego you think your better than everybody else, but if you have very low ego then you have very low self respect. If I was in his situation then my word would probably be independence. It would be independence because the old society he was in never allowed independence and you were a part of "one man".
Equality's new name is Prometheus. Prometheus stole fire from the gods like Equality took knowledge from the council so to speak. Liberty took on the name Gaea because she was the mother of the earth just like liberty will be the mother of the new mankind.

Ego is the one for himself word for Equality. In my situation the word would be I. This is because it gives a sense of self purpose and individualism.

This name is very significant because Prometheus brought light to all the other gods, and Equality discovered a little thing called light. Liberty's name is changed to Gaea, which was the mother of earth.

The word ego, will be placed everywhere to state that it will never die and is always going to be the thought throughout all of this new household and society. The word states that Equality has gone past the ways of the last society, and created a brand new look on himself and man. I don't think another word would be good to take the place of ego.

Honors: Ego is some one's idea of self importance. It’s basically how you see and feel about yourself. My sacred word would be "original' because that’s what everyone should be. Everyone should be able to think and do what they want in a way that unique to them.

The word Ego means to have a personality. Without Ego one everyone would be the same, no one would be special. This word also means to have self-importance and self-interest in oneself. It’s about caring for who you are and what you stand for. If I were in Equality’s shoes my sacred word would be character. Although this word is very similar to the definition of ego, it means to have distinctive qualities and unique traits. Character is something you build over time; it’s how you live and what you believe in.
1. Equality chooses the name Prometheus, and gives Liberty the name Gaea. He chose Prometheus because he could relate to what he had read about the man. The books said he took the light of the gods and brought it to men, and taught men to be gods, and that he suffered, as all bearers of light must suffer. Equality felt this name suited him because of that. He gave Liberty the name Gaea because that was the name of the goddess that was mother to the earth and gods, just as Liberty would be mother to a new kind of gods.

Honors: I think ego pretty much means 'self'. It is you, and your personality, and who you are. It is individuality. However, as important as that word is, it wouldn't be my sacred word. Mine would be 'individual'. It would be that because that is what I think it is most important for people to know...that their an individual, and their important.

In the Future Equality plans to have sons and create a "kingdom" of sorts and use his electricity to protect and aid him. HONORS PROMPT/ Ego is self-personality and how one feels about something in their own unique way. It is one of the most important emotions because it lets one put themselves before another at least in terms of what they are interested in. I would probably be my sacred word because it shows that you should respect me for my opinions and not just me.
